Mr Leo Angelo Lanuza

Vocal / Piano Associate

Leo Angelo Lanuza is a graduate of the UST Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance, bringing extensive experience in teaching, conducting, and performing. Supported by scholarships from UST’s Sto. Domingo B program and the Klasikal Music Foundation, he has been actively involved in ensembles such as Los Ruiz Señores de Letran, Lourdes School Chorale Society, and the Thomasian Chamber Choir.

In opera, Leo’s notable performances include Singapore Lyric Opera productions of Manon Lescaut (2012), I Pagliacci (2015), and Turandot (2016). At the Cultural Center of the Philippines, he contributed to Lucia di Lammermoor (2020) and served as Chorus Master for Don Pasquale (2024). His work with UST Opera includes Die Fledermaus (2007), Cavalleria Rusticana (2012), and Rigoletto (2014). He has further refined his craft through masterclasses with renowned professionals such as Gian Luca Pasolini, Dominique Morales, Park Byeong In, Alexander Vikulov, Rodel Rosell, and Rachelle Gerodias-Park.

From 2011 to 2022, Leo served as a voice and piano instructor at the Euphony School of Music. He also conducted a corporate choir for DMCI Homes in 2019. His teaching at the University of Makati included music theory, conducting, choral arranging, and music technology.

Mr. Leo is currently teaching vocal, piano, and music theory at Phuket School of Music.
