Phuket School of Music Inaugural Concert

Phuket, 08 December 2018, An evening of classical music was held at Phuket School of Music Auditorium featuring associates and invited artists, performing music by Mozart, Puccini, De Falla, Celso Machado, King Bhumibol Adulyadej and more.

The event was attended by Honorable Phuket Vice-Governor, Supoj Rodruang Na Nongkai, Khun Jumpol Thongtan, Khun Banthoon Thongtan and guests from various Local and International Schools.

The school aims to promote classical music recitals and outreach performance programs to strengthen Phuket's position in the field of musical arts in Thailand and give students access to highly qualified music teachers and cross-cultural workshops. Regular recitals are lined -up for student opportunities that will enhance their confidence towards stage performing.

Phuket School of Music Director, Khun Pintusorn Thongtan hopes that the school will inspire young talents and expand to a broader range of musical disciplines based from the Western Classical Music traditions.
