Ms Anna Konoplova
Violin Associate, String Coordinator
Ms. Anna, a violinist from Ukraine, brings over 30 years of performing experience to her students. She began her musical journey at the age of five in a special program for young children at a school for gifted musicians, where she studied for nine years and won several music competitions.
Pursuing her passion, she entered the Music College in Donetsk, Ukraine, where she was awarded the prestigious Presidential Scholarship and graduated with a diploma degree with honours. She continued her studies at the Donetsk State Music Academy named after Sergey Prokofiev, earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music with honours.
Ms. Anna began her teaching career at “Dream Land,” a psychological centre for children and parents, where for ten years she offered violin lessons through specialised programs integrating theatre, music, and psychology. She also taught music theory and solfège to adult students. Upon graduating from the Music Academy, she was invited to join the Women’s National Chamber Orchestra of Ukraine for a concert tour in Italy.
Her performing career has taken her to more than 30 countries, appearing in string quartets, string trios, violin–piano duos, and contemporary electric string trios. She has collaborated with various ensembles on international cruise lines, including Holland America, Celebrity Cruises, and Carnival Cruise Line.
Ms. Anna is currently teaching violin, music theory, and music appreciation at Phuket School of Music.
