An Evening of Trios for Oboe, Violin/Viola and Piano

Phuket School of Music and Bangkok Music Lover proudly present Floating, Falling, Flying, an intimate evening of chamber music featuring the distinctive combination of oboe, violin or viola, and piano.

Performed by violinist and violist Anna Takeda, oboist Cooper Wright, and pianist Natalie Ng, the programme brings together music from different periods and musical traditions. The evening opens with Dmitry Shostakovich’s charming and characterful Five Pieces for Oboe, Violin and Piano, followed by August Klughardt’s expressive Schilflieder, Op. 28.

After the intermission, the audience will be transported to the Brazilian coast through João Guilherme Ripper’s colourful From My Window No. 1, featuring musical scenes of cycling by the sea, sunset, and bossa nova.

Join us for an evening of lyrical melodies, vivid musical imagery, and engaging chamber music performed in an intimate setting.
