Ms Anastasia Kiseleva was born in Vladivostok, Russia. She started her violin lessons at the age of 6. She graduated from Far East University of Arts in Vladivostok and Gnesins Music Academy where she also completed her post-graduate pedagogical studies.
At the age of 19, she performed the Violin Concerto by Tchaikovsky with Vladivostok Symphonic Orchestra. She won 3rd price at All Russian Violinists competition in Nizhniy Novgorod in 1993.
During her studies in Moscow she played chamber concerts as piano and violin ensemble . She went for the tour to Saarbruken Germany with duo ensemble. Ms Anastasia also took a part in Youth Orchestra Festival in Austria with maestros F. Fedoseev and Sigetti. She performed at Russian consulate in Vienna Austria with duo ensemble.
Since 1999, she has been a member of Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra where she had the privilege to perform with great musicians such as R. Rostropovich, D. Xvorostovsky, A. Bocelli, V. Ashkenazi and V. Repin. During that period, she was involved in multiple educational and outreach programs as performer and went on tour from North to South Malaysia. She also took a part in Malaysian Music University training programs.
Ms Anastasia is currently teaching violin, music theory, piano and music appreciation at Phuket School of Music.
